Germination

First let your seeds germinate. One way to do this is to place the seeds on the surface of a cup of fresh water in a warmish, dark place.  Usually the tap root will emerge between 1-3 days but this can take longer.  Once the tap root has begun to emerge remove the seed and tap root, still together and plant it in your growth medium.

Please note that seeds become illegal in most countries when they are in the germination stage.
